Those ‘Twilight’ stars weren’t the only vampires to kill it at Comic-Con.

HBO’s hit show ‘True Blood‘ had fans in a frenzy at their panel, where creator Alan Ball (’American Beauty’) and the truly hot cast dished out some juicy news.

First, vampire addicts can now get a taste of Tru Blood–for real. The synthetic blood that Bill and the gang imbibe to stay alive–instead of feeding on those pesky humans–is being bottled for the public as an energy drink.

It’s a mixture of “wine, vodka, Vicodin, Viagra and ecstasy” and is “completely illegal,” joked Ball.

The soda–made from blood oranges–will be called Tru Blood, packaged in the same bottles as the ‘V’ juice on the show, and goes on sale in September on HBO.com.

But here’s the bigger news: Ball also announced that Charlaine Harris, the author of the books the series is based on, just signed a new contract to write three more books, which would take the show to 2014.

For now, look for HBO to make the announcement that ‘True Blood’ Season 3 has officially been ordered.

Here’s a Tru Blood toast to that!
