The American Federation of Musicians has sued producers of American Idol on Thursday. The suit claimed the musicians who played on the live show were not paid what they were due because of the fact that the live music the audience heard during the live show was pre-recorded. American Idol has not since paid royalties to musicians responsible for the music, and the union says that’s wrong! Uh, how about a lawsuit protesting Ryan Seacrest’s monopoly over reality television, which is putting actors in the unemployment line? That man’s show’s are cropping up everywhere! [Yahoo! News]
