Amy Adams

Amy Adams might get her Irish on in the romantic comedy Leap Year, where she plays a tightly-wound woman who plans a big trip to Dublin so she can take advantage of the local tradition of a woman proposing marriage to a man on the elusive February 29, and the man is mandated to accept. The script from Made of Honor writers Deb Kaplan and Harry Elfont is said to be “in the tone of It Happened One Night,” the Frank Capra screwball comedy starring Clark Gable and Claudette Colbert. Stay tuned for a director and Adams’ co-star, as yet unfilled, to see if they can jump the bar set by Capra.
