Rachel Hunter is kicking arse on Celebrity Circus but takes really good care of herself on the set. We got a chance to chat with the very gorgeous model, right before she started practicing pilates during a break from the torture of the circus trapeze. You’d think swinging on the contraptions would be enough of a workout, but she told us “It’s a great work out but you’re not losing weight, your actually gaining muscle.”

Have you bonded with anyone in particular on the set?

Jason is really great and Chris as well. I mean everyone is awesome. Antonio has a really great worth ethic and Stacy is amazing. You’re training everyday for 8 hours so you grow tight with everyone pretty quick.

Do you have a reality TV show that you watch as a guilty pleasure?
I did watch the last Bachelor with Matt Grant, I haven’t watched them before. TV now is just reality shows; it’s just the way it is. I’ve done my share of reality shows, and at the same time people are like “She has modeling and has done Sports Illustrated, why is she doing reality shows?”, but when do you get the opportunity to do things like this. Reality TV is a good thing but it’s definitely taken over television.

What made you want to do this show?
I think it’s always fun to do something that’s different. I’ve seen Circ de Sole shows and when they showed me what they wanted us to attempt to do it was like when are you ever going to get the opportunity to do something like this, so I just went for it.

Would you say that that was what basically drew you to doing this?
Yeah, that’s what anything to do with reality show is. You’re put into situations like in
Dancing with the Stars where, how many times are you going to get to do ballroom dancing, and it’s the same thing with the circus. Cirque Du Soleil has made it so much more advanced that what it used to be, and I would say that’s what drew me to do it.
