Lost Highway

Watch David Lynch’s surreal, erotic mystery Lost Highway for free in its entirety right here, right now on Fancast.

David Lynch is an extraordinary filmmaker, but one that is generally considered to be an acquired taste. 1997’s surreal noir Lost Highway is an example of how cryptic and truly strange the man can get.

Bill Pullman stars as Fred, an experimental jazz sax player married to Renee (Patricia Arquette) and living well. Fred has his suspicions about Renee’s fidelity, but is more concerned about the fact that someone is sending him tapes that prove that he’s being spied upon, perhaps even stalked. When Renee is mysteriously murdered, Fred is convicted of the crime and put on death row… and even though things were already weird, they get kicked up several notches when Fred inexplicably becomes a different person, and one Pete Drayton (Balthazar Getty) now resides in Fred’s cell… and then there’s a blonde named Alice who looks exactly like the late Renee…

Words can’t explain a movie like this. You’ll just have to watch it and find out for yourself.

Check out Lost Highway, also featuring Robert Loggia, Henry Rollins, Gary Busey, Natasha Gregson Wagner and Richard Pryor in his last film role.
