Mickey Rourke stars as Randy “The Ram” Robinson, a professional wrestler past his prime still working the circuit for dwindling nostalgic audiences. Once a heart attack ends his career, he’s forced to take a hard look at his life, and reaches out to the only people he feels close to - his estranged daughter (Evan Rachel Wood) and the stripper (Marisa Tomei) whose friendliness he may or may not be mistaking for geniuine affection.
