Is Rosie O’Donnell Being Wooed By NBC?

Heaven help us! Rosie O’Donnell might be in the midst of getting her very own television show. Entertainment Weekly is reporting that the funny (and controversial!) lady is in talks with NBC big wigs to develop a primetime talk show, perhaps as a fallback in case Jay Leno moves to ABC after his own NBC tenure is finished in 2009.

Although O’Donnell is now primarily a video blogger, she has a long list of TV projects under her belt, particularly her popular show, The Rosie O’Donnell show, which ran from 1996 to 2002. She then made the jump to The View, but left after a short time, and actually didn’t leave under the greatest of terms.
