John Mayer Mlogs!

Have I ever told you how much I love John Mayer’s blog? It’s full of buttery goodness. He has singlehandedly managed to turn the tables on this whole internet celebrity blogging tmz-perez-gawker-paparazzi business by being just a little creative. Read his blog, and get hooked on it! One sample post, titled “My Celebrity Mlog”:

Americans are celebrity obsessed, and that obsession shows no signs of stopping. So in an effort to stay on the cutting edge of digital technology and pop culture, I’ve decided to make the most personal facet of my life public.

My meals.

If I’m correct, America - no, the world - will want to see this. In fact, I’m not sure why I don’t turn this mlog into a pay site. Oh wait, I remember why - because I love my fans. And I don’t think you should charge money just because you could make a killing off something. I should add, though, that if I do go broke, I will need to charge money for this site so that I can have the means to buy food to take pictures of and then eat.

I’ve stamped these photos with a watermark to avoid unlawful publication in the media. The tabloids and entertainment news shows will froth at the mouth, wanting to grant this unprecedented level of access to the world, and I want to be able to thoughtfully control my image. Of my food.
