Michelle Rodriguez: Christmas in Jail

How was your Christmas? Did you get a little annoyed at the holiday crowds? Did your cousin’s Christmas jokes get under your skin? Did you wish you were somewhere, ANYWHERE but around your dinner table? You better thank your lucky stars you weren’t Lost’s Michelle Rodriguez this weekend. The poor girl marched her rebellious arse on Sunday to the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood for violating her DUI case, to begin her 180 day prison sentence.

Rodriguez was handed her sentence in October, after she owned up to failing to complete her 30 hours of court-ordered community service. She also acknowledged drinking alcohol on several occasions in defiance of the monitoring bracelet on her ankle.
Over the years, Rodriguez’s police file has been growing steadily thicker.
The Girlfight star was sentenced to three years’ probation in 2004 after she pleaded no contest to misdemeanor DUI, hit and run and driving with a suspended license. [E! News]

What did we learn from this, Michelle? Don’t drive drunk. And then don’t drive drunk again. And then don’t drink when you have a monitoring device on your ankle. Actually, Michelle, just don’t leave the house until you hit 50 and you should be fine.
