Miley Cyrus: Targeted By Terrorists!

Was a hijacker targeting a Miley Cyrus concert? Outlets have been reporting that a disgruntled young man planned to hijack a plane headed to Louisiana in order to commit suicide. CNN reported that his original plan included crashing the plane into the Miley Cyrus concert on Friday night at the Lafayette Cajundome. Fortunately for Miley and her billions of fans (billions!), this last point has just been confirmed to be untrue:

However, the FBI says it has “no information on whether the concert may have been targeted as part of the plot.”
The timing of the event doesn’t match up either, considering the boy was arrested at the airport on Tuesday and the Louisiana Cajundome concert isn’t taking place until tonight.
So, it seems Hannah Montana’s perpetual perkiness had nothing to do with this boy’s screwy mental state.
Or (and please forgive our love of conspiracy theories) Disney already got to the boy in its elaborate underground tunnel system and pressured him into changing the details. No one messes with Disney’s most prized possession and lives to tell about it. [E!]

Good riddance! We can all rest assured that our favorite tween sensation will be safe and sound tonight.
