News: Robert Downey Jr. as Hugh Hefner?

Further evidence that Robert Downey Jr. is now in high demand - Hugh Hefner apparently wants him to play the pajama-wearing ladies’ man in a biopic entitled, appropriately enough, Playboy.

Not a bad gig, really, although Downey’s interested but won’t commit until there’s, you know, a director and a script, two fairly important things for any project. In the plus column, Brett Ratner is no longer attached to direct. That can only be a plus.
