Paramount To Aid Kite Runner Boys

There’s a fascinating update by Fox News‘ Roger Friedman on the the three boys featured in the upcoming movie The Kite Runner [click to watch the trailer], the movie adaptation of Khaled Hosseni’s bestselling novel. The movie’s story hinges on the lives of the boys following the forced rape of one of them, and, as Friedman notes, it’s fueled concern for the boys’ safety in their Afghanistan home. Thestudio releasing the picture appears to lending a helping hand.

The boys, two aged 11 and one 12, plus their parents, are going to be relocated in early December, right after their school sessions let out and before the film opens in the U.S. on Dec. 14. Once they’ve been moved to Dubai, Paramount Vantage hopes to bring them to the U.S. to do publicity for [the film].
