Poor Matt Dillon. It would be bad enough to either have wooden plank Paul Walker cast as your nemesis, or to have interchangeable wooden plank Hayden Christensen cast as one of your partners, but for both of them to happen on the same film, like it’s just done for Bone Deep, you’ve got to wonder about your luck. Dillon will be playing a “hard-boiled detective” trying to bust up a group of criminals led by Walker, while Christensen is playing a rookie cop.

Walker and Christensen may be lovely people, but they aren’t much good at their profession. Then again, one could argue that their jobs are ‘looking good on the big screen.’ If that’s your take, then they’re both aces in their field. An amusing bit of irony is that Walker and Vin Diesel left the Fast and Furious franchise because they thought they were too big for it, but when it was proven that watching cars go fast was the only reason people were seeing those movies in the first place, they hopped right back on board for 4 Fast 4 Furious. Check out the new trailer for that one right here.

Also, let’s all watch the Free Fancast Film Drugstore Cowboy and remind ourselves what Matt Dillon is capable of delivering, shall we? Because the only depth we’re likely to get out of Bone Deep is a black hole of thespianism. Thespianity? Thespiosity? You get the point.
