PETA is crying bloody murder after last night’s VMA telecast over T-Pain’s entrance into the show. As you’ll recall, the rapper arrived to the red carpet with a top hat and an elephant. PETA wrote on its blog today that this was a statement of cruelty, and wrote a letter of complaint. But PETA wasn’t completely disappointed by the show. They seemed to enjoy other musician’s more earth and animal-friendly shenanigans, saying “Fortunately, Paramore weren’t the only artists who created buzz without exploiting animals. Tokio Hotel’s monster truck and Young Jeezy’s presidential motorcade were other notable choices of transport.”
