Rachel Zoe Gives Fancast A Fashion Tip: High, High Platform Shoes!

Rachel Zoe’s gotten a bad rap in the tabloids, particularly after her involvement with Hollywood jet-setters, Nicole Richie and Lindsay Lohan. But she wants to set things right and says her new show on Bravo, The Rachel Zoe Project, will do just that. “I want viewers to gain an understanding of what it is that I do,” she said to Fancast at the NBC/Universal All Star party on Sunday night in Beverly Hills. “I think there’s a lot of misconception about not only my life and what I do but also about me personally. So, I think it’s really getting an understanding of my world and what’s involved in it.”

What’s involved in your world?
It’s very fashion heavy, very fashion driven, some clients. There’s that really intense period between fashion week and the Oscars, so it’s a lot! And there’s lots of drama.

What fashion tip would you give the everyday girl who will be watching your show?
Don’t succumb to trends. Only do what’s best for you and for what works best for your body and your personality. Don’t copy something because it’s on the runway.

Karl Lagerfeld, John Galliano, Alexander McQueen, Balenciaga.

What fashion item are you loving right now?
High, high, high platforms.
