Roseanne Barr Bashes Brangelina, Jon Voight On Her Blog

Roseanne Barr unloaded on Brangelina and Jon Voight on her blog in an effort to drum up
support for the candidacy of Barack Obama. But the ruse may have backfired as Rosie has been taking some real heat for speaking her mind.

“Jon Voight is a frightened little girl in a pink ballet tutu, who acts like Obama just wondered in from the rain forest with a bone through his nose and a communist pamphlet in his loincloth,” she wrote on her web site.

Once a Queen of Prime Time due to her wildly popular ’90s sitcom ‘Roseanne,’ Barr’s acting career has taken a tumble since her infamous crotch grabbing incident while singing The National Anthem in San Diego some 18 years ago.

Barr, 55, piled on insult after bizarre insult, even mocking Angelina Jolie’s adopted three-year old daughter Zahara. Barr wrote. “Do you know that the African daughter you hold in every picture had parents who suffered and died because of the republican party’s economic assault on Africa over the last few decades since Reagan?” Jolie and husband Brad Pitt adopted Zahara six months after she was born.

Apparently Roseanne believes that spewing insensitive remarks about defenseless children will help pave the way for a Democratic landslide with her new hero.

Barr had previously been very supportive of his front-running predecessor in the race for the Democratic nomination, Hillary Clinton. But with that dream down the drain, obviously she now feels that attacking the charitable actions of Hollywood stars who, despite their sheltered lives, are actually trying to bring a ray of hope into the lives of a very fortunate few, will seal the deal for her new champion.

Hey Rosie, what’s the harm? For a person who has proclaimed herself a “domestic goddess” she sure has some funny notions about parental nurturing.
