Sam Rockwell, Rob Corddry, Emma Roberts Join “Winning Season”

James Strouse’s high school basketball comedy The Winning Season has just lined up a pretty great cast. Sam Rockwell is going to star as the washout coach who tries to redeem himself by coaching the girls’ b-ball team at a local high school, Emma Roberts will be one of his players with whom he forms a bond, and Rob Corddry will be playing the school’s principal, and that man certainly excels at playing stuffed suit characters. This looks to be a quite a significant change of pace from Strouse’s last project, the John Cusack Iraq War drama Grace is Gone.
