The Erotic Adventures of Robin Wright Penn

THR - The Princess Bride is now Pippa Lee.

Robin Wright Penn will star with Julianne Moore and Winona Ryder in Rebecca Miller’s “The Private Lives of Pippa Lee,” based on a novel about a meth-addict mother whose husband leaves her and has “an array of erotic adventures” while spiraling out of control. Likely not the kind of erotic adventures that one would call ‘lurid,’ but it’ll probably be more along the lines of “disturbing.”

However, Miller’s The Ballad of Jack and Rose was a powerful piece, and it got me misty-eyed inside of five minutes. That’s some strength there, and it definitely makes Pippa Lee something to see.
