Tila Tequila: MTV Announces More Shots of Tequila

What are several million 12 to 34 year old’s doing on Tuesday nights? They’re watching MTV’s latest hit, A Shot at Love With Tila Tequila. Hmmm, we wonder what they could possibly like about the bisexual competition dating show that features mostly bathing suit-clad contestants getting sloshed and pining about how badly they want to bring pleasure to tiny, love-starved Tila. At any rate, MTV has announced a slew of Tequila-related shows and specials, including a marathon, a reunion show, and our absolutely new favorite, if only for the title, A Shot At Love: The Hangover After Show. The Hangover show is actually a recap with — gasp — never-before-seen footage from the episode that will have aired a few minutes earlier. We have not had this much fun since Anderson Cooper’s recap of Larry King’s infamous exclusive first interview with Paris Hilton following her release from jail. We don’t ordinarily recycle press releases, but this is so fun to read that we want to share it on the jump. Have fun.

A SHOT AT LOVE: THE HANGOVER” AFTER SHOW
Airs every Tuesday at 11pm (ET/PT)
Beginning Tuesday, November 13th at 11pm ET/PT, “The Hangover” will begin airing each week directly following “A Shot at Love With Tila Tequila” on MTV. The 30-minute After show will recap all the drama and emotion from that night’s show, feature never-before-seen footage, and give fans a tease to the following week’s episode. “The Hangover” is hosted by Ryan Stout and will also feature a new guest each week, most likely one of the eliminated contestants, to help dish on all the dirt. The After show can also be streamed in its entirety on MTV.com and MTV Mobile.

Bringing back 20 of the most love-torn, scorned contestants from “A Shot at Love With Tila Tequila” sounds like a good idea, but this is after Tila has made her final decision and, as we all know, nothing is uglier than a group of scorned admirers. It’s the audience’s first chance to see Brandi face-off against Vanessa…the first time the gang gets to see Ashley and ask him why he freaked out…and the in-studio audience will get to ask their favorite contestants why they did what they did. Fans will get an update on what the contestants have been doing since they lost their “Shots at Love.” It will also be the first time that Tila and her choice will make their big public debut.
