Vin Diesel: More Riddick to Come

First, there was Pitch Black, the sci-fi horror flick which you can watch online for free in its entirety right here on Fancast.

Then there was The Chronicles of Riddick [watch the trailer], which took Vin Diesel’s criminal powerhouse to the next level of badassery and left him in charge of a kingdom.

Then there were a pair of video games, Escape From Butcher Bay and Assault on Dark Athena, which some say are even better than the last film.

Now, Diesel is saying that not one, but two more Riddick films are being planned and written by David Twohy.

“David Twohy right now is writing the scripts. The only question is whether we take a page from the ‘Lord of the Rings’ guys and try to shoot the two chapters at the same time. There are two more in mind. Everyone knows I love the Riddick character and I’m always working on it. It just takes five years to make another one because David Twohy and I are so precious about it.”

An extraterrestrial warrior from the planet Furya who can see in the dark and is good with knives, running around being a badass on different planets. It could work, but will it?
