‘Addicted To Beauty’ Continues Despite Divorce

Oxygen’s “Addicted to Beauty,” which showcases the goings-on at a tony La Jolla, Calif. med spa/plastic surgery center, will have underwent some major changes of its own before premiering August 4.

As it was originally pitched to Oxygen, the show focused heavily on the relationship between the owners, socialite Dianne York-Goldman and her surgeon husband.

But before “Beauty” could even get into production, the Goldman’s (you guessed it) divorced. Ultimately, Oxygen decided to go on with the series anyway, refocusing it on York-Goldman’s attempts to launch a new med-spa in a new location, as well as her re-entry into single life.
