Gente en Buenos Aires

In Buenos Aires, a poor student keeps himself in college by working as a salesman to the city's department stores. Between his studies and his work, he has no time for pleasantries, which irks one of the shopgirls he meets, and she begins taunting and teasing him whenever they meet. At the same time, he has been developing a telephone relationship with a young woman, at first very guarded, then more friendly. Finally, they are great pals.
