Dalle was placed under investigation for illegal drug use in August of 1995 when French police found cocaine and heroin in her home. She was convicted in October 1996 and fined $4,000, but the French court agreed not to register her conviction so she sould continue to work in the USA.
In December 1991, Dalle was arrested in Paris and accused of stealng $4,500 worth of jewelry and stuffing it down her thigh-high boots. She received a suspended sentence and was fined $3,600 for repeated shoplifting at a jewelry store.
