Bruno Kirby (Actor)

Kirby was slated to co-star in "City Slickers II", but a falling out with producer-star Billy Crystal led to his role being rewritten for Jon Lovitz. The details of the feud between Crytal and Kirby, formerly close friends, have never been spelled out, but Kirby was quoted in the press at the time lashing out in unspecified terms at the treatment he had received by Crystal.

Of Sicilian descent, Kirby bluffed his actual knowledge of the Italian dialect when he went for his audition for "The Godfather, Part II", using a few words supplied to him by his actor-father, Bruce Kirby.
