About Ed Love

Animator Edward Love worked on several important projects for Walt Disney Studios during the 1930s. It was he who animated the trees in the Oscar-winning short Flowers and Trees (1931). He also helped bring Mickey Mouse to life in the "Sorcerer's Apprentice" segment of Fantasia (1940). Love later worked for MGM under Tex Avery and then Walter Lantz before finishing his career with Hannah-Barbera where he worked on such series as The Flintstones, The Jetsons and Huckleberry Hound. ~ Sandra Brennan, All Movie Guide
