Actor and musician, Hal (Halil) Ozsan was Born in Northern Cyprus in 1976 and grew up in East London, UK where he attended the prestigious Brentwood School. While there he won the Mayor of Essex's award for a play he co-wrote and co-starred in, and received a school distinction tie for Drama. Moving to Los Angeles in the late 90's he has been working steadily in films and television almost from the moment he arrived. Hal has guest starred in over a dozen television shows, gaining recognition and fans for his recurring role as Todd Carr (the temperamental director who hires Dawson) on the final two seasons (2001-2003) of "Dawson's Creek" (1998) and as Azazel in the ABC Family show, Fallen (2007). He had a major role (as Joey Dimarco) in the critically acclaimed television movie remake of Helter Skelter (2004) (TV). In films he has played opposite Al Pacino in one memorable scene in S1m0ne (2002) and had co-starring roles in several independent films. Hal is also a talented musician/singer. He formed the LA based Rock 'N' Roll band, Poets and Pornstars (with influences from such indie groups as Radiohead, Travis, Coldplay, The Stone Roses and the singer Catherine Wheel) and functioned as the lead singer and songwriter for several years before leaving the band to pursue acting full time. He lives in Hollywood with his actress girlfriend.
