Lou Ferrigno beat out fellow body builder-turned-actor Arnold Schwarzenegger for the role of David Banner’s green alter-ego on the series, “The Incredible Hulk” (CBS), reportedly because at 6’2”, Schwarzenegger was simply not as tall and menacing enough as the 6’5” Ferrigno.
