One part American Idol and one part The Surreal Life, ABC's Dancing with the Stars is a competetive celebrity reality series that pairs notable names from film, television, music and sports with professional ballroom dancers. Each week, after the couples have performed, a panel of judges rates them and home-viewers phone in votes for their favorite, with the lowest scorer eliminated from the game.
