When Chyna Shepherd is coaxed into spending Thanksgiving with her friend Laura's family, she can't stop thinking about her own horrific childhood. Relaxing for the first time into the normality of a loving family holiday, her happiness is shattered by a blood-curdling scream. In the darkness of night, someone has broken into the house to slaughter Laura's family one by one. Hidden under a bed, Chyna goes undetected, but when the intruder takes Laura's limp body as a trophy, Chyna risks her own life and follows him. Soon she comes face-to-face with Edgler Vess, the brilliant psychopath behind the crimes.
