Dear John (1988-1992)

Comedy series based on a BBC series of the same title about John Lacey, a divorced man coping with single life in New York City with the help of the One-Two-One Club, a singles' support group. The group consists of the womanizing Kirk Morris, attractive divorcee Kate McCarron, retiree Mrs. Philbert, Southern divorcee Mary Beth and the group leader, British single mother Louise Mercer. In the final season, Kate marries a police officer, Louise becomes romantically involved with Ben, the handyman, and John and his ex-wife Wendy have their second child since their divorce.
