Exiled: A Law and Order Movie (1998-1999)

Movie based of the NBC series, "Law & Order." Detective Mike Logan, a former Manhattan homicide detective who has been "exiled" to police duties on Staten Island after striking a politician in the face, attempts to make a comeback to Manhattan homicide duty with the case of a murdered prostitute. When Logan finds the woman's body floating in the waters of New York Harbor, he claims jurisdiction for Staten Island's 128th precinct. By cracking a murder case, Logan believes he'll catch the attention of his superiors in Manhattan. However, things aren't as they seem and the investigation reveals more than he was looking for, including mob involvement and a possible dirty cop.
