Rory tries to do extensive research on Logan's father before going to work as an intern at one of his newspapers. A curious Lorelai decides to call off her ban on Friday night dinners with Emily and Richard when she finds out they have asked to have dinner with Logan. Over dinner, however, despite her parents' obvious fondness for Logan, Lorelai begins to worry about whether his lifestyle is compatible with Rory's. Lorelai, meanwhile, is presented with an amazing work opportunity, and Luke talks to Taylor about shutting down the town's new museum.
