Lorelai becomes more despondent over Luke's absence when she finds his boat gone from her garage, bur Luke is planning to jumpstart communication between them when he agrees to build sets for an elementary school production of "Fiddler on the Roof" for which Lorelai is making costumes. Meanwhile, Marty's attempts to hang out with Rory are thwarted by an uninvited Logan, but after an evening with Logan's pals goes south, Marty's admittance to Rory of his romantic interest in her is rebuked as she admits to an interest in Logan.
