Deep below Primatech Paper in Odessa, TX, Peter's reunion with Nathan turns violent when the brothers, Matt and Hiro all clash thanks to Adam and his pursuit of the deadly Shanti Virus. Hiro manages to get the upper hand on Adam and teleports him into a grave where he will possibly live forever, buried alive. Peter stops and destroys the virus. Matt decides to reveal his powers to the world and expose the Company but is assassinated by his mother's organization before he can reveal the truth. After watching his heroic cousin captured by a street gang, Micah turns to the one person who can help him save Monica -- his mom, whose powers are on the wane due to her infection. She makes the rescue but appears to die in an the resulting explosion, unable to save herself. Noah Bennet returns from the dead to let his family know he made a deal with the Company to save their lives but he must serve the company and leave them forever. Meanwhile, Maya tragically learns how much of a monster Sylar really is during his kidnapping of Molly and Suresh when she is shot by him. Suresh, using the serum from Claire's blood manages to save her. Meanwhile, Elle decides to play hero to get back into her father's good graces and takes Sylar on. She saves Suresh, Molly and Maya, but he escapes with the serum. He injects it and it heals his wounds and restores all his lost power.
