After applying some gentle coercion, the Mertzes are invited to go along for the ride, with Ricky handling their expenses. Only one problem remains: Lucy (Lucille Ball) and Ricky have elected to travel to Hollywood by car -- but neither the Ricardos nor the Mertzes own a car.
