Flashback to the early, happy days of Sun and Jin's marriage. A starnge woman threatens Sun that she will reveal Jin’s past, that his father is a fisherman and mother is a prostitute, if she is not paid off. Since the information would be devastating to Jin and his position with her father, Sun winds up paying off the woman only to learn that the woman is Jin’s mother. Back on the island, Juliet tells Sun that all the women who get pregnant on the island die. Juliet takes Sun to the old Caduceus hatch where she reveals a secret vault of medical equipment. Juliet is able to tell Sun that Jin is the father of her baby - which is good news except that it means she got pregnant on the island. Meanwhile, the mysterious parachuter is gravely injured and needs medical help. While trying to decide what to do, Hurley fires off a flare gun. Soon, out of the woods comes - Mikhail, the man with the eye patch who seemingly died at the sonic fence at Locke's hands. They capture him, but he says that he will save her life if they promise to let him go afterwards. They let him help her, which he does. He goes to leave, but they find that he stole a satellite phone from her bag. As Jin, Desmond, Hurley, and Charlie get ready to bring the parachuter back to camp with them, she asks where she is. Hurley tells her that she is on an island, and that they are the survivors of Oceanic Flight 815. The girl says that is not possible, the plane was found, and nobody survived.
