On the freighter, Regina nervously guards Sayid and Desmond who are locked in a room. Lapidus brings them some lima beans, but doesn't let them speak to the captain. On the beach, Jin and Sun discuss baby names. In a flash, Sun is off the island, very pregnant, and calling the hospital. In another flash, Jin is at a store frantically searching for a stuffed panda. Back on the island, Kate tells Sun about recent events and "the poison gas factory." Sun wonders if rescue is out of the question. She questions Daniel, but he says it's not for him to decide. She tells Jin that she wants to go be with Locke. Juliet finds out and begs her not to go, saying that she'll die if she stays. In a flash, Sun is about to give birth. She won't let the nurse take off her wedding ring and begs them to get her husband. In another flash, Jin loses his stuffed panda. He frantically goes back to the store and demands another. Back on the island, Kate is drawing Sun and Jin a map to get to Locke, but Juliet interrupts. She tells Jin about Sun's condition but he doesn't believe her. Out of options, Juliet tells Jin that Sun had an affair. Sun slaps Juliet and takes off after Jin, but he is upset and wants to go fishing with Bernard. On the fishing boat, Bernard explains that he and Rose didn't go with Locke because Locke is a murderer. Jin considers this. Meanwhile, on the freighter, Sayid and Desmond get a note passed to them through the door that reads, "Don't trust the Captain." They are soon brought out onto the deck to meet him. While there, they see that Lapidus has taken the helicopter somewhere. They also see Regina jump into the water with heavy chains wrapped around her. Desmond cries out at this apparent suicide for people to help save her, but Captain Gault comes out to calm him, saying that she's gone. Gault admits that the crew has been acting strange since they’ve been near the island. He also admits that Charles Widmore sent the boat. Gault then shows them the black box of the staged crash of flight 815, and tells them he believes Ben knows who staged the plane crash and put the dead bodies underwater. Sayid and Desmond are moved to a new room. There is blood on the wall, so the Captain calls Kevin, the janitor, to come clean the mess up. When Kevin comes over, Sayid and Desmond see that it is actually Michael. They pretend to be meeting him for the first time. Back on the beach, Sun and Jin make up and he forgives her. They decide to try to get rescued instead of going to Locke. In a flash, Jin arrives at a hospital with a panda bear, but it is not for Sun. It is a flashback to when he was working for Mr. Paik and had only been married for two months. He delivers the panda for his boss to an ambassador who is now a grandfather. In a flash forward, Hurley visits Sun and her new baby girl. They go to the cemetery and talk to Jin's gravestone. Sun admits she hallucinated that he was still alive while she was in labor. She calls their baby Ji Yeon.
