Connie Hilton calls Don in the middle of the night and Don is more focused than ever on earning Hilton’s business. As Don drives to work, he sees Sally’s teacher, Suzanne Farrell, on her early morning jog and gives her a lift. Henry visits Betty and she covers up his appearance by agreeing to host an event for Rockefeller, but Henry does not attend the event. Betty confronts Henry at his office and breaks off the potential affair. Lee Garner Jr. of the Lucky Strike account comes onto Sal in the editing room, but Sal rebuffs his advances and loses his job as a result. Don visits Miss Farrell and they give into temptation.
