Jack McKenna runs McKenna Wilderness Outfitters, which leads vacationers on outdoor expeditions. The business begins to falter after Jack's oldest son, Guy, dies while leading a tour. Jack's other son, Brick, returns home to try and rebuild the business and his strained relationship with his father with the help of his younger siblings, Cassidy, Harry and Rose, as well as Walter, a mountain man who works at the family ranch.
