When Max (Jason Behr) is hospitalized after swerving to avoid a horse on what could have been a romantic drive with Liz (Shiri Appleby), Isabel (Katherine Heigl) and Michael (Brendan Fehr) realize they must switch Max's blood sample with a vial of male human blood, lest Max be recognized as an extraterrestrial. While the gang asks Alex (Colin Hanks) to provide a sample, Agent Topolski (Julie Benz) is trying to locate the vial for her own nefarious purposes.
