In the original episode of Roswell, Liz Parker (Shiri Appleby) realizes that Max Evans (Jason Behr) is actually an extraterrestrial after he saves her life. Max emphasizes how important it is to guard the secret with everything she has. This is no easy task, considering that her boyfriend, Kyle (Nick Wechsler), recognizes the alien imprint left on her stomach after the healing as the same image his father (William Sadler), the sheriff, had once seen on a dead body. Kyle's father's reputation was hurt by his belief in the existence of alien life, and he has since become obsessed with clearing his name. Though the teen aliens consider moving to a new location, they decide that it would only draw further attention, and opt to stay in Roswell. ~ Tracie Cooper, All Movie Guide
