SeaQuest 2032 (1995-1996)

Series originally set in the year 2018, following the adventures of a huge submarine as its crew explored new worlds beneath the sea. At the end of the second season, the seaQuest was transported to a distant planet, and when it returned to Earth (at the beginning of the third season), ten years have passed. In a more dangerous geo-political world, the sub gets a new captain and must confront a variety of world leaders and corrupt moguls. On board are: Captain Oliver Hudson, a tough Navy career man; second-in-command Comdr. Jonathan Ford; Ensign Lucas Wolenczak, the science officer and techno-wizard; Lt. James Brody, a special-weapons-and-tactics expert; helmsman Tony Piccolo; Dagwood, a genetically engineered janitor; communications officer Lt. j.g. Tim O'Neill; engineering officer Lt. Lonnie Henderson; Lt. J.J. Fredricks, an underwater stealth fighter pilot; and Darwin the talking dolphin. Former captain and boat designer, Nathan Bridger, maintains contact from his island research post.
