Hitherto seen from the back only, series creator Carl Reiner makes his first full-face (and credited) appearance as Alan Brady, the boss of comedy writer Rob Petrie (Dick Van Dyke). Hoping to persuade Alan to appear on a cultural TV show, Rob applies a bit of reverse psychology -- and seriously jeopardizes his job in the process.
