The Good Witch (2008)

A man struggling with his personal life after his wife passes away, buries himself in work as the Middleton town Sheriff, and barely sees his two kids. Everything changes when a mysterious woman moves into Middleton and rents an old, abandoned house believed to be haunted. She talks to animals and owns a shop that sells oils and other mystical objects, causing people to think she's a witch. Eventually, she bonds with the Sherriff's children and begins to take care of them. She is having a positive effect on the citizens of Middleton, until the mayor's wife intervenes and tries to force her out of town.
